New and Oldish

This morning was my first day at my new job. I mentioned in my last post that I had an interview the following day. Well, it went great and I accepted the position. It's a domestic cleaning & organising job for a family, twice a week. So it's very part time but it's ongoing which is really good. It's also pretty close to my house, which is handy. The morning went nicely and I really hope they like me/find my work satisfactory.

On Saturday, Josh and I celebrated three years together so we went out for breakfast, then took a ride on his bike out to my parents', and spent the rest of the day hanging out at home watching movies. It was really nice and low-key, which we both tend to prefer. I can't believe it's been three years! Feels both shorter and longer at the same time. I can't imagine life without him, he is my best friend and my love. Sometimes he also feels like my only source of air when I am in the midst of a tough patch. I feel like he is constantly helping me grow, encouraging me and guiding me, and sometimes I feel like I have no idea how I could ever possibly give back enough. Perhaps if I just keep doing the laundry and dishes we'll be even some day? Haha.
